Suicide Pact

This is a fun, light game that's pretty easy to learn.

This is a seven-card stud variant. If, when dealing, three cards of the same value are on the table (3 sevens, 3 jacks, etc.) then those cards are removed from the game. Players do NOT get replacement cards.

One extra rule is that a player can not lose more than two cards total. For example, Joe already has lost two cards and has a king showing. A third king is dealt and he is supposed to lose his third card. Joe retains his king, while the other player(s) that have kings up would lose them.

If a player folds, his face up cards stay on the table and can count towards there being a set of three cards of the same value.

Generally a high pair is a very good hand. A player who starts with a pair down can bet with a lot of confidence.

A variant of this game is called "Suicide Cult". In this game, if a fourth card of the same value appears face up. The first three cards that were removed are returned to their original owners' hands.

Siamese Poker

This game can be played as either a stud or draw game, and can be used as a variant in most other poker games.

The general way to play is as a 7-card stud game. If a player has a pair he may treat it as a single wild card.

For example, Joe has a 4, 5, 7, 8, and a pair of jacks. He can treat the jacks as a single wild card and use it to complete his straight to the 8.

Swinger

I designed this game to give players "slightly-wild" cards. It can be played as stud or draw with 5, 7, or any number of cards. It can also be used as a variant in most poker games.

No matter how you play this game, the basic rule is this: Each player may take ONE of his cards and EITHER (a) increase or decrease the value of that card by one (e.g. 5 to 4, 10 to jack, ace to 2) OR (b) change the suit of that card to one of the same color (e.g. club to spade, diamond to heart).

One variant, termed "Full Swing" is to allow the suit change to be from any suit to any suit. Obviously this leads to more flushes.

Jersey Hold-Em

This, of course, is a Texas Hold-Em variant. Everyone is dealt three cards down. Each player chooses one card and passes it to the dealer face down. The dealer rounds up these cards and shuflles them up, then places the pile on top of the deck. Then, just like Texas Hold- Em, the top three cards of the deck are dealt face up in the center, followed by a betting round. Next, one card is dealt face up in the center, followed by another bet. Finally, one more center card and one more bet.
